Blake Shelton spreads 'Pure BS' across US
Country singer Blake Shelton [ tickets ] just dropped a deluxe edition of his latest album, "Pure BS," and he'll support the set the through late summer.Shelton, who's been on the road most of the year, continues his tour Wednesday (5/7) in Rochester, NY. He'll crisscross the US through late August, playing more than 40 shows at a mix of clubs, theaters, casinos, fairs and festivals. Details are listed below.Shelton has been working to support his fourth studio album, "Pure BS," which surfaced a year ago and reached No. 8 on the Billboard 200. Two hit songs into that set ("Don't Make Me" and "The More I Drink"), the singer fell in love with the Michael Buble tune "Home" and decided to record it country style. The single made such a splash that it prompted the "Pure BS Deluxe Edition.""How strange to be re-releasing an album--but it's what makes sense," Shelton said in a press statement. "I wasn't due for another album for a while and 'Home' was being so well received, the label had to find a way to get it out to the fans." In addition to "Home" and the original tracks on "Pure BS," the deluxe version includes two previously unreleased songs penned by Shelton: "Chances" and "I Can't Walk Away."
